Step 4: Governance: Nonprofit organizations that share CLASH values can become Board members. Individuals who have a history of lead safe advocacy are invited to apply to join the board as At Large members.
Step 3: Advocacy (Advocates): Put your skills and interests to work on a lead safety issue, using political engagement, data analysis, communications skills. Organize a group and promote public awareness. CLASH can help you put whatever you want to do to make Cleveland Lead Safe.
Step 2: Activism (supporters): Do something that will make a difference where you live, work and play. Organize an informational meeting on your block, in your building, or at your civic organization. Share your own experience and invite others to become aware and engaged. CLASH will help with literature, speaker, and suggestions
Step 1: Awareness (Observers): You know about the risk of lead in our community. You know about efforts to keep children safe from contact with environmental lead. Maybe you even make a donation to help others become aware.Â
